The first ever industrial exhibition to showcase products produced by Dalit Businessmen in the state was organized from 4th to 6th June 2010. This event was organized by the Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industries (DICCI). The whole industrial world was awaiting this, first ever exhibition which was a major step in up bringing the socially deprived section of the Indian society. This exhibition is in line with the dream of Bharat Ratna, Mr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, who stressed the need of economical growth through ethical business and developing products at par with the other businessmen in the country. To bring this dream to reality, Er. Milind Kamble, a self made businessman and social activist from Pune, took initiative to organize an exhibit of products manufactured by Dalit Businessmen in Maharashtra titled DEEPEXPO 2010.

This most awaited and a milestone event DEEP EXPO 2010 was inaugurated by Hon. Dr. Jamshed J. Irani, (Director, TATA Sons Limited & Chairman, Affirmative Action Council of CII) and noted columnist and writer Hon. Chandrabhan Prasad presided the inauguration program.
